We have had very pleasant weather this November - cold mornings, but rising temperatures during the day. These Turtles were enjoying the sunshine Friday afternoon.
Perfect camouflage! If I had not seen it fly into the trees, I would have passed on by without noticing it.

Oh, I almost didn't see that owl!
ReplyDeleteWow...love that natural setting photo if the hawk in its environment...and yet kinda unusual to have it perch without a free opening (they usually sit where there is an easy escape route)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed my visit here, and give thanks to you for sharing this week at IRBB.
Great turtle photo. Love turtles but there are none of the islands where I have lived.
ReplyDeleteThe turtles are so amusing the way they search for the sun. Just like we do I guess.
ReplyDeleteTurtles are lovely to come across sunbathing. The hawk is well camouflaged, so it's nice you caught a photo of it.
ReplyDelete...turtles and hawks have been elusive for me this year.
ReplyDeleteThat is one beauty of a hawk! Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteThe hawk is very well camouflaged. Love the turtle pictures, makes me ready for warmer summer weather already (have a long ways to go to get there). Hope you've had a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHawks are amazing, aren't they? Sometimes I don't even notice them until they swoop down for prey out of the tall trees in the backyard. They are such regal creatures!
