Great to see family picnic! Sorry, I would just say a sparrow, but don't know birds that well. That old car is certainly a classic, and this is a good time for people to work on projects like restoration!
ReplyDeleteNice fluffly clouds. That car is terrific.
ReplyDeleteYour mystery bird is a Hermit Thrush.
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful vintage car. I home it gets fully restored. I like the photo of the family picnicking by the lake. Kind of a timeless feel to it.
ReplyDeleteThe thunderbird and the thrush are beauties.
ReplyDeleteFive great photographs … that Hermit Thrush is a beautiful looking bird.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Love the car and the thrush! That was when each car had a personality!
ReplyDeleteThat bird capture was beautiful; I'm glad you got an ID. I wouldn't have been any help. The couple of days warm enough for picnics, our local county park was full, people seeming to keep social distance. But alas, we have snow in our forecast for tonight - 1 to 3 inches expected in some areas. The apple trees are in full bloom - this isn't at all good.
ReplyDeleteHello, I always love the pretty sky and sunshine. It is a great idea to get carryout and go somewhere to eat your food a pretty view. Love the field of cattle and your pretty Hermit Thrush. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend. PS, thank you for the visit and comment.
ReplyDelete...that Olds looks neat to me too!
ReplyDeleteI recognized the Hermit Thrush too....it's been a regular around here lately. I love seeing families having picnics. I wish more got outside like this. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteClassic car for sure. My late hubby and I had a 53 Olds convertible---another classic. Pretty river

Your bird is of the thrush family...hermit thrush I think (maybe wood thrush). Love the idea of a sunny day spent outdoors!
