The Eastern Kingbird,
Tyrannus tyrannus, is a member of the Flycatcher family. The white tip on its tail distinguishes it from other black and white birds. Eastern Kingbirds are long-distance migrants, spending about six months in North America, and six in South America.
Hope you have a beautiful day!

ReplyDeleteI haven't seen one yet this spring. I'm sure they have been around, just not where I was looking!
ReplyDeleteI’ve never seen a kingbird before. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have seen the Western Kingbird here but not the Eastern although the are here at times.
