We had a raccoon come to our cabin one time. It was winter so I was keeping some vegetables in a covered tub outdoors. In those days I only had a small RV style propane refrigerator. He was a big one. I could see him through the sliding glass front door. Needless to say, I stopped putting food outdoors and he never returned. - Margy
ReplyDeleteHello, I just love the cute Killdeer. They are adorable birds. Neat shot of the raccoon. Great photos. Take care and stay safe. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day, wishing you a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the Killdeer pic! Raccoons are said to have almost as large a population here as the people so they are a bit of a pest in the city.
ReplyDeleteThe Killdeer is a neat sighting! They are such graceful birds! Love the raccoon for critters too! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteHaha!! Naughty Racoon. The Killdeer is such a smart bird.
ReplyDeleteLove the raccoon photo. We have them here but they are a rare sight.
ReplyDeleteRaccoons are the main reason I have to go bring my feeders in every night (mainly just the suet, thankfully, they don't seem to have a taste for safflower seed.). I like the Killdeer, such fun birds to watch. Hope you are having a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteThank you for the Kildeer. I have never seen a shot of one before. Nice to meet new birds.
ReplyDeleteThey're both wearing masks too! Neat, and critters of the pandemic.
ReplyDeleteAs always, I thank you for taking time out in your day to show off your birds with us at I'd Rather B Birdin this week.
I enjoy watching the kildeers do their dance when you get close to the nest. Cute raccoon!
ReplyDeleteHello. The Kildeer is a beautiful bird.
