Thankful Thursday and Little Things Thursday

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, September 2, 2018
Scuppernongs are a variety of Muscadines, Vitis rotundifolia, wild grapes native to the southern United States. Though the birds and squirrels eat some of them, I am thankful that they leave a few of them for us!
Have a blessed day!

  1. These are new to me Lea. I must not live far enough south or just haven't looked for them. Thanks for the info and pic. Have a good weekend.

  2. We visited a muscadine winery when we were traveling in South Carolina ... I remember they were sweet and good (the grapes ;)), not the wine ).....but I didn’t know about this variety... nice to have them in your yard.

  4. Interesting---never heard of them. We have wild High Bush Cranberries---very tart but edible and the birds don't like them. Odd huh
