Canada Geese, September 12, 2018

Wild Bird Wednesday and Wednesday Around The World

Pickwick, Tennessee, USA, September 10, 2018
Canada Geese, Branta canadensis, are common birds across much of North America. They eat grasses, grains, berries, and seeds. They mate for life, and tend to stay in family groups.

Canada Geese are migratory birds, flying south in the Winter, but many of them have become year-round residents of the United States.

Have a wonderful day!
