2. What I am Reading
Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, April 17, 2018 |
'The Perfect Poison' by Amanda Quick
'The Purloined Puzzle' by Parnell Hall
'Murder With Macaroni and Cheese' by A. L. Herbert
'Lord of the Privateers' by Stephanie Laurens
My favorite from this group, 'The Alice Network,' is set in Europe during and immediately after World War II.
3. Teals (I'd Rather B Birdin')
Tupelo, Mississippi, USA, April 11, 2018 |
They are migratory birds that come south to spend the winter, and then go north to their breeding grounds in the spring. There were three males and two females. I don't know why
I did not get all five of them in one photo.
4. Groundhog (Saturday's Critters)

...Lea, lots of wonderful things going on in your life this week. Thanks for joining Willy-Nilly, enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteMurder With Macaroni & Cheese? I'm gonna hafta Google that book!
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed peaking into your week today. Have you read "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society"? If not it is a wonderful read, and has just been released as a movie. Both wonderful. Have a great weekend ahead and thankyou for stopping by my blog this week.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to look for the book you recommended. My book club is meeting today to discuss "The Second Mrs. Hockaday". Great book!
ReplyDeleteThe groundhog is a sign of spring!
ReplyDeleteOkay, you had me at 'Groundhog'! Super photos.
ReplyDeleteI also copied the book titles and will try to find them at our local library. Thanks!

You look like a prolific reader!! Beautiful blue sky through the pecan tree. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteHow on earth do you read so many books at once! Every once in a while I will read some of two different ones, but never more. I love your groundhog and your jonquils! Hope you have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteMemories of staying at a B&B in Georgia and seeing those bare pecan trees (March) against the sky. Love your jonquils. Winter is refusing to leave our area of upstate New York, but some brave daffodils are trying to bloom.
ReplyDeleteI like the blue sky.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots. The pecan tree is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteA blue sky ! That's wonderful and the little groundhog looks so cute !
ReplyDeleteWonderful images, Lea. I love to read too. I am reading the Raylan Givings series by Elmore Leonord, and others at the ready. We don't have Groundhogs out here but other similar animals. Love the flower

Hello Lea, pretty capture of the tree and sky. Te Blue-winged Teals are pretty ducks. The groundhog looks like he is posing for your camera. Pretty flowers. I will check to see if my library has these as ebooks. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to see the groundhogs in the Spring....as long as they stay off the roads. The Teals are special too. What a great sighting! Enjoy your weekend..happy reading!
ReplyDeleteNice group of pics Lea. Pretty blue-winged Teals; wondering if you have all 5 books going at one time. Some people enjoy have more than one book going at a time.
ReplyDeleteI usually read two at the same time, sometimes three, but not all five at once!
DeleteBeautiful sky! I do love pecans, but it's a lot of work picking them up. I haven't read any of the books except The Alice Network and I really did enjoy it. Love the teals and the groundhog. The flower screams spring and I'm happy to see it! Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteHello, I like the groundhog!
ReplyDeleteFunny critter.
Nice set of pictures - I'd really like to see a Ground Hog! They look like a great animal - I saw some close relatives in the Swiss Alp last year.
ReplyDeleteSorry its taken me so long to visit, things have been pretty hectic here!
