Birds! April 12, 2018

Thankful Thursday and Little Things Thursday

Colbert County, Alabama, USA, April 5, 2018
Today I am thankful that we had a wonderful afternoon along the Tennessee River last Thursday! As we walked along the shore near Wilson Dam, we were astonished at the number of birds we saw there.

Pelican, Gulls, Grebes, Coots, Cormorants!

.

And my favorite bird - the Great Blue Heron!

It was a wonderful experience, and I am thankful for it.

I hope you have a beautiful day!

  2. Beautiful birds pic Lea. I love the Great Blue Heron but haven't been able to capture a great pic of one. Maybe this year I will get lucky.

  3. All the birds are heading back here after their winter down south. You can hear them all singing away in the trees!

  7. Awesome! That's a lot of birds! We saw some Great Blue Herons near Savannah when we were there in March. They're fascinating to watch.
