...a nice preview of things to come here!
ReplyDeleteOne day, I am going to try to id the different violets in my garden and neighborhood. They're such wonderful flowers. Happy WW to you, Lea. I do love the Tufted Titmouse.
ReplyDeletePretty flowers and a bird I have never seen in real life. Thanks for sharing some spring scenes!
ReplyDeleteLove these little guys. The flowers are wonderful! Loving spring!
ReplyDeleteAH!
ReplyDeleteSweet flowers for spring. Love the photo of how violets take over. I don't have them in my garden but I know a friend spends hours each year moving them out of her pathways.
ReplyDeleteHello!:) Delightful Spring flowers, and Tufted Titmouse image. I have Vinca, in my garden, which is another early Spring blue flower that brightens my day.
ReplyDeleteWe get violets in May around Mothers Day!
ReplyDeleteLea, I adore wild violets. In fact, when first moved here and went on my early treks into the woods and came across them, I thought that Mother Nature wouldn't mind if I moved them a little close to home. Each year I spread what I have here and there, hoping to spread them in my world!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteI love violets! And your tufted titmouse is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI have a little pot of violets. How wonderful to have a whole carpet of them!
ReplyDeleteTufted Titmouse is a delightful little bird and used to be extremely rare here. However, in recent years it has extended its range northwards, and while not common it is no longer unexpected.
ReplyDeleteMy violets are not blooming yet - just a few here and there. I have one color of purple only. Yours look great with the different shades. It has been a temptation to get other colors but they are trying to take over everything now. It may not be wise to encourage them - but when have I ever been wise when it comes to adding more flowers?

Hello! The Tufted Titmouse have a big and beautiful eye. Wonderful flowers.
ReplyDeleteI have some violets, too. I pull out the ones that go beyond the area I have for them. I also put a few leaves and blooms into salads early in their season. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm back from my cruise to Jamaica and wanted to stop by and thank you for visiting I'd Rather B Birdin' in my absence. Have a great day! LOVE the titmouse & gorgeous Spring flowers!
