what a pretty red bird.
ReplyDelete...from what I hear, back home folks aren't nice spring weather. It's nice to see that you are!
ReplyDeleteA great selection for a Friday, Lea! Love the Cardinal!
ReplyDeleteYour shot of the Starling looks as if he was dipped in oil...Beautiful!!!..:)JP
ReplyDeleteGreat spring photos!
ReplyDeleteI live in NJ and our Maple trees are starting to swell up. I can't wait until they begin to bloom and the weather warms up. We are in the midst of a windy Nor'Easter right now.
ReplyDeleteOh, I just loved the cardinal on the flowering maple. Sap is rising in our maples, and all the wet gloppy snow we got today may actually help the maple syruping season here in upstate New York. I loved that vintage Hot Springs "postcard" on the U-Haul. It's been over 30 years since my husband and I camped near there. It's an interesting place.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot of the Flowering Quince!
ReplyDeleteWow you got a bunch of stuff going on there. I always figure that since Quince blooms so early it is a sure sign of Spring and the Hummers love the blossoms

The cardinal is my favourite bird, love seeing him in all seasons.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a busy week - great photos - especially the cardinal and the horse.
ReplyDeleteHello!:) Love your Starling capture,...think it's also my favourite, but the Cardinal, and pretty Quince blooms are lovely.
ReplyDeleteNice pics Lea. Love seeing the flowering quince. Makes we anxious for spring.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the photos of the Cardinal and Quince blossoms. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Hello, I love your cardinal shot and the pretty horse. The blossoms are beautiful, nothing here yet. Our power (due to wind storm) went out yesterday morning and is not back on yet. Thankfully hubby got our generator working long enough for me to make a few comments. I will catch up on all links and blog comments asap. Thanks so much for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI guess I could show them the way! I grew up about 30 miles from Hot Springs! Love your bird pics! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe European Starling has a sweet big smile, so it looks. :-) You have a wonderful eye.
ReplyDeleteI am not ready for our winter to end yet, but I got a little shiver with the flowering quince picture! Your B&W picture is a great example of how differently something can look in those tones. Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteNice images! The cardinal is marvelous!
ReplyDeleteLove the cardinal & starling...that flowering quince is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteSharing this blog post with us at I R B B this weekend is much appreciated, thanks!
Your photo makes that Starling look like a beautiful bird! Partial to the Cardinal though. My husband and I went to Hot Springs, Arkansas on our honeymoon. Always think we need to find our way back there sometime. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
