Wild Bird Wednesday and My Corner of the World

There were several birds (Vultures, Herons, Cormorants) in this tall tree on the bank of the Tennessee River, but the Osprey, Pandion haliaetus, had pride of place at the top!

    An Osprey deserves to be at the top. Actually we watched one fishing this morning - a fabulous bird.
