Wild Bird Wednesday and My Corner of the World

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, April 23, 2021
I made this photo of a female Red-bellied Woodpecker, Melanerpes carolinus, through my dining room window. Red-bellied Woodpeckers can be found in much of the eastern half of the United States. You may attract them to your yard by hanging suet feeders.

I hope you have a beautiful day!

I am joining in today with Wild Bird Wednesday and My Corner of the World

  7. That would be such a treat to have in your garden - or maybe they are as common as sparrows in the UK? Great photo
