Willy Nilly Friday 5, Sky Watch FridayThe Weekend in Black and White,
and on Saturday, Saturday's Critters, and I'd Rather B Birdin'.

Click on the photos to see them at their best.

1. Pickwick Lake (Sky Watch Friday)

Pickwick, Tennessee, USA, October 2, 2020
We had beautiful weather for our trip to Pickwick Lake last Friday (Oct 2). But this Friday, October 9, is completely different. We have rain coming in ahead of Hurricane Delta that is bringing dangerous weather to the Gulf Coast. Thankfully, we are far enough inland that rain is all that is predicted for us.

2. Wildflowers (The Weekend in Black and White)

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, September 30, 2020
I sat down on the ground to make the flowers seem taller!

3. What I am Reading

front cover
Jan Karon's "To Be Where You Are" is the 14th in the Mitford series.

back cover
A good read from the first page to the last!

4. Cat (Saturday's Critters)

Lee County, Mississippi, USA, September 25, 2020
Our neighbor's cat, Shug, is a sweetheart!

5. Egret (I'd Rather B Birdin')

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, September 14, 2020
Great Egret, Ardea alba.

Have a wonderful day!

  19. A very nice set of pictures - there is a cat that looks like that one further down or street. I often chat to him when I am out for a walk!
