...we've had much needed rain, but nice gentle rains.
ReplyDelete...looks silvery.
...how do you tell them about?
...pretty in pink.
...I never saw one this year.
Thanks Lea for joining the party, enjoy your weekend.
As for telling the dogs apart, you've probably heard the joke about the little boy watching his dad examine a litter of puppies. The dad picked up each one, turned it over, and said 'a boy' or 'a girl.' The little boy told his young friend, "My dad can tell boys from girls by looking at the bottom of their feet!"
DeleteWe had a lot of much needed rain yesterday, and I enjoyed both your rain on the water picture and the fisherman (you are right, B&W hit just the right note with that one). Your Confederate Rose is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteNice shots Lea! The little bluebird is sweet.
ReplyDeleteI love those dogs!
ReplyDeleteI love your bluebird pic!
ReplyDeleteIt must be really rewarding to have a bluebird hanging around (nesting?) a house you built yourself!
ReplyDeleteThe dogs are cuties.
ReplyDeleteLovely glittery black and white!
ReplyDeleteA great seie. I like your fisherman.
ReplyDeleteWe didn’t get much rain this summer, not good for the farmers for sure. The blue bird is so pretty. A new one for me. The dogs look alert, as if ready for a bark.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
I love those dogs. How does anyone get 4inches of rain in one day. We have had almost 4 inches in this whole month.
ReplyDeleteGood to be back.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteGreat view of the dam and sky! The fishing silhouette is pretty. Love the cute dogs, they are a pair! The Blue Bird is my favorite, great photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day and weekend!
Hello. All of these photos are great. Eastern Bluebird is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
I love a set of dogs!!! :) That hibiscus flower is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh I love your bluebird house! What a great thing to do...these are such special birds. I love the photo of the fisherman...I want to go!
ReplyDeleteFour inches is quite a bit of rain. I don't even try to encourage bluebirds to nest anymore, because of the English sparrows. I've tried every box that is supposed to be sparrow proof and they aren't. Two years ago a pair of bluebirds nested in the red-bellied woodpecker box and they all survived, but that was a lucky exception. Glad you don't have that trouble there. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful flower! Great idea to build a bluebird house from a kit. I should look into that. Loved all your photos. Hope you have a great weekend. Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteI used to see bluebird here, but for the last couple of years, none. A very special treat. Also, LOVE the stormy sky...
ReplyDeleteI am really behind in my visiting today since "life got in the way". Thanks for linking in at I'd Rather B Birdin this week.
