Wildflower Wednesday and All Seasons

Lyreleaf Sage, Salvia lyrata, is a wildflower that can be found in the eastern half of the United States and as far west as Texas and Kansas. The blue tubular blooms are on spikes above the leaves.

The green leaves grow next to the ground and have purplish edges.


You may see them mixed with other wildflowers. I think these white flowers may be Fleabane.
