I think this knocked sideways Pedestrian Crossing Sign expresses the way most of us are feeling right now. But when I remember to count my blessings, I feel much better!

5. A Resident and a Migrant (I'd Rather B Birdin')

Mourning Doves, Zenaida macroura, are common year-round residents here in Mississippi. The White-throated Sparrow, Zonotrichia albicollis, is just passing through. Their breeding grounds stretch from the Great Lakes region of the northern United Sates on northward all across Canada. We scatter sunflower seeds on the ground for our ground-feeding feathered friends.

    ...with that sign, a missing nut and bolt can sure change things. I wish that we had all of our nuts and bolts tightened read about now!
