Wild Bird Wednesday and My Corner of the World

Eastern Bluebirds are small members of the Thrush family found in the eastern half of the United States and southeastern Canada. They are cavity-nesting birds that eat insects in the Summer and fruit in the Winter, and you may attract them to your yard by providing nest boxes.

  2. A few Eastern Bluebirds overwinter here, but it shouldn't be long now before the migrants return.
