We are enjoying a few days respite from the rain.
One of our Pear Trees blooms earlier than the others, but I don't remember its name.
Spirea 'Ogon' is always the earliest shrub to bloom here.
The Hellebores have been showing off their blooms for several weeks.
The Oxalis is beginning to bloom, sheltered from the weather by the front porch.
The almost constant rain has bent the Narcissus blooms over.
I think these large ones are 'King Alfred' Daffodils.
Narcissus, Daffodil, Jonquil... whatever you call them, these perennials are well worth the cost of the bulbs!

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have blooms in February! I live in Michigan and we are still in a wintery grip of cold and snow. Tomorrow it might be 30 degrees.
ReplyDeleteAhhh...we will have those blooms in early June!
ReplyDelete...February in your next of the woods sure is different than back home or here for that matter. Enjoy all of those spring flowers.
ReplyDeleteI've heard about all the rain you guys have had lately. Nevertheless your winter garden is looking good.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to see so many things blooming in your part of the country--shades of things to come soon for us here in the north. Good point about the sounds of birds singing. :)
ReplyDeleteOh Lea, I wish you could send us your excess rain. We're on the verge of drought again. Your pretty daffodils are way, way ahead of mine, some of which haven't even poked their heads above the soil line yet.
ReplyDeleteStunning blooms of Narcissus,Daffodil varieties, mine have still not bloomed yet.Pear tree blooms are such warmth in shades and colors.Happy blogger blooms day.
ReplyDeleteNice spring blooms, and SUN! (It feels like it's been raining for weeks, up here in Oregon.)

ReplyDeleteLovely blooms! I so love daffodils.
ReplyDeleteI like all of your "spring" colors in your garden and the Cardinal is the 'cherry-on-top'! Happy blooms to you!
ReplyDeleteYour pear blossom is way ahead of mine! Tall daffodils are prone to blowing over, but I still can't resist them, but I like the little ones too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Lea! If I'm not mistaken this is the first time you share flowers with All Seasons. All are so striking, but my favorite is the Oxalis - somehow they speak to me:) Many thanks for sharing these spring beautires with All Seasons, and not to forget the lovely Cardinal!
ReplyDeleteWonderful early sights of spring!
ReplyDeleteMy oxalis isn't up yet at all. Love your little white blooms - mine are purple leaves with pink blooms.
