Willy Nilly Friday 5, Sky Watch Friday, Signs 2,
and on Saturday, Saturday's Critters, and I'd Rather B Birdin'

Click on the photos to see them at their best.

1. Sunny Skies! (Sky Watch Friday)
Lee County, Mississippi, USA, November 20, 2019
We had sunny skies for the first part of the week before the rain moved in on Thursday.

2. The Most Interesting Thing I Have Seen This Week
Shiloh, Tennessee, USA, November 17, 2019
… a Packard in the parking lot at Hagy's Catfish Hotel Restaurant!
I think this may be a 1935, but I am not sure. Hope someone can help with a positive ID.

3. Remember When (Signs 2)
Pickwick, Tennessee, USA, November 21, 2019
Remember when your GPS and Fish Locator were rolled into one trusty unit called Grandpa!

4. Opossum (Saturday's Critters)
Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, November 21, 2019
Virginia Opossums, Didelphis virginiana, are the only Opossums in the United States and Canada, and are commonly referred to simply as Possums. They are marsupials about the size of large house cats. This one was eating spilled seed underneath my bird feeders and ran into the woods as soon as it saw me.

5. Mockingbird (I'd Rather B Birdin')
Hardin County, Tennessee, USA, October 20, 2019
Northern Mockingbird, Mimus polyglottos. I am always amazed to see birds standing on one leg with the other one tucked up under their feathers to keep it warm.

Have a wonderful day!

  14. What a fabulous car. "They don't make them like that anymore". Loved seeing that opposum as we have nothing like that in UK. In fact all of our mammals don't add to much and are difficult to see.
