House Sparrows, Passer domesticus, were introduced to North America in New York City in 1851. Now they are one of the most common birds on the continent. In Europe they are known as English Sparrows.

  3. Visiting Shiloh is on my bucket list. Was never able to get there during the Civil War 150th commemoration. Beautiful fall foliage, and nice to see green, also. Enjoy your week!
