U-Haul, November 26, 2019

ABC Wednesday, Monday Mural, and Our World Tuesday
U is for U-Haul - America's Moving Adventure

Booneville, Mississippi, USA, November 24, 2019
U-Haul is a fleet of rental trucks and trailers operating in the United States and Canada. All their trucks and trailers feature painted scenes (murals) of historic sites.

"Nunavet, Canada. Did you know... For over 4,000 years, stone structures known as inaksuit have dotted the vast Canadian landscape. Who built them and what vital roles did they play in survival?"

Tupelo, Mississippi, USA, August 4, 2019
The trucks and trailers can be rented for moving across the country or just across town. Because U-Hauls can be rented wherever a person lives and returned at a U-Haul location at their destination, we get to see many different and interesting murals.

"Missoula, Montana, USA. Exploring the Lolo Trail - Route of Lewis and Clark."

  4. We rented a U-Haul van when we moved our furniture from Pomona to Bellingham, Washington. It took us four days to get there because we stopped in Seattle for a University of Washington basketball game, U-Haul and all. - Margy

  5. I haven't moved in 20 years, but I've moved about 20 times before then. Too familiar with U-Haul!
