2. Good Food
Tupelo, Mississippi, USA, July 28, 2019
Sunday Morning Brunch at O'Charley's Restaurant: Strawberries and Cream French Toast with Bacon and Cantaloupe. Delicious!

3. Church Sign (Signs, Signs)
Baldwyn, Mississippi, USA, July 25, 2019
"Worry is a darkroom where negatives develop."

4. A Very Wet Raccoon (Saturday's Critters)
Tupelo, Mississippi, USA, July 30, 2019
I saw this Raccoon looking for food (fish and small amphibians) in a creek, though it is so polluted, I am surprised that anything might live in it.

Raccoons are omnivores, eating fruit and seeds, and any small animals that they can catch.

5. Great Egret (I'd Rather B Birdin')
Tupelo, Mississippi, USA, July 28, 2019
a Great Egret, Ardea alba.

Have a wonderful day!

  1. I enjoyed the reflection of the sky on the water. Also the raccoon. The breakfast made me hungry. Have a good week!

  5. Raccoons are rather indiscriminate, I think. We have (at least) one living in the sewer on our street.
That church sign is so true.

  10. Looks like a pretty young raccoon learning how to make its own way in life. I can't believe how many of these creatures wind up as road kill.
