The American Crow,
Corvus brachyrhychos, is a well-known bird across much of North America. They are intelligent birds that usually feed on the ground. Crows enjoy a varied diet of worms, insects, small animals, seeds, and fruit.
Have a wonderful day!

It amazes me how smart crows are!
ReplyDeleteHello, great capture of the Crow! I see them coming after the peanuts I put out for the Blue Jays! Wishing you a great day!
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine the amount of noise he'll make.
ReplyDeleteThere seem to be more of them around this year which is a good thing!
ReplyDeleteI love those glossy, black feathers.
ReplyDeleteThey serve a special purpose. They can be annoying in big groups, but I'm glad they clean up a lot of the dead animal remains and help keep the area healthy. They're very smart, too.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have crows here in New Zealand, but we do have noisy magpies! This is a great photo.
ReplyDeleteYour link at 'My Corner of the World' this week sure made my day!
