The Barn Collective, I'd Rather B Birdin', and All Seasons

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, July 28, 2019
It is time to get the hay into the barn. We can already see the difference in daylight hours; Winter is coming. Our neighbor has a herd of cows and several horses.

… a Tufted Titmouse, Baeolophus bicolor and a Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Archilochus colubris

Have a blessed day!

  5. My son still complains about his teen years spent loading and hauling hay.

  6. Nooh, am not ready for winter!Especially now it really stays hot here, close to a 100 degr. F. But I have seen it coming, because here it's already dark by 8:30 while a few weeks ago the sunset just began at that time! These cute birds (in the same tree, what a treat:)) are a nice diversion. Many thanks for keeping us up on the Season! Enjoy the summer while you can:)

  7. ...the dry weather has helped with getting the hay in here too. Fewer and fewer farmers are using small bale anymore. Thanks Lea for stopping by, enjoy your week.

  8. Very nice birds - I went for an early evening walk today, and I think I could tell it was a little lighter than last week.

  9. Nice shots! I think the tufted titmouse leaves here in the summer.
