Thankful Thursday and Little Things Thursday

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, July 23, 2019
I am thankful for purple-hull peas! I bought a big sack of purple-hull peas at the Tupelo Farmers' Market on Tuesday. It took us several hours to shell them, but it was time well spent. I cooked them, divided them into meal-sized portions, and put them in the freezer. We will have fresh-tasting peas to eat this Winter!

Have a blessed day!

  4. That's awesome. Is the taste different from snap peas? They look delicious!
