I am thankful for purple-hull peas! I bought a big sack of purple-hull peas at the Tupelo Farmers' Market on Tuesday. It took us several hours to shell them, but it was time well spent. I cooked them, divided them into meal-sized portions, and put them in the freezer. We will have fresh-tasting peas to eat this Winter!
Have a blessed day!
