I really did not want to get out in the cold drizzling rain yesterday to return books to the library, but now I am glad that I did. I was able to get photos of the old barn and this Hawk, and I saw a flock of Wild Turkeys and a dozen or so Canada Geese. Pretty good for just a 15 minute drive to the library! (And I checked out more books, too).
Have a Blessed Day!

...it's nice that this relic came out of hiding. You have to wonder how long it will be standing. Thanks Lea for stopping by, enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHello, neat shot of the barn skeleton. Great sighting of the hawk! Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and new week ahead.
ReplyDeleteIt is funny what we see when the brush is cleared away----sounds like a profound statement--LOL

That hawk is quite a sight.
ReplyDeleteI love surprises like this old barn that was revealed for you to find, and the hawk viewing is wonderful. Sounds like it was a worthwhile outing!
ReplyDeleteYes, you saw some interesting sights during your brief drive! I love to see the hawks up on the utility wires and poles--they are great vantage points! And I imagine that barn has stories to tell!
ReplyDeleteI posted a couple of library trip photos yesterday. And I also saw a hawk, but in our yard. I don't have evidence though, because it flew away.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many winters that barn has seen - and how many more it will last. Kind of sad I think.
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
The hawk doesn't look happy with the weather either!
