We have had abundant rain this year, and it is in a spot with lots of sun. These pretty green leaves will turn a blazing red in the Autumn, hence its name Red Maple.
The light grey trunk of the tree has lichen on it, but from what I have read about lichen, it will not harm the tree.
Have a wonderful day!

Excellent shots!
ReplyDeleteOne of the other bloggers I follow occasionally does that with a specific tree.
...it sure has put on some growth. 🌳
ReplyDeleteThis does sound like a fun meme. I like the photos :)
ReplyDeleteIt is fun! Maybe I'll join in again one of these days. I do enjoy seeing how trees change during the seasons and in different locales around the world. :)
ReplyDeleteI like tree-following in part because makes us see more details ... for example lichen on trunk (nice photo).
ReplyDeleteLooking good! And it will be interesting to see the autumn colour.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of your rain - we are having a drought this summer...
All the best - and thanks for joining in :)
