I donated three books, and took this one home with me: Ken Follett's 'Lie Down with Lions'

Enjoyed Abe's Grill - nothing like that here. We do have several Little Free Libraries, though, including one located near a "rail trail" and a couple more in neighborhoods. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteWe have those little libraries around here. Two within walking distance. I have borrowed books and donated too. Owl looks pretty sad.
ReplyDeleteLoved the signs for Abe's Grill. There is a little library in my neighborhood. I haven't been by in awhile -- thanks for the reminder, I'll walk by with a few books. Poor little owl ... at least he will have a home......
ReplyDeleteI saw a little library locally somewhere but I can't recall where now
ReplyDeleteWonderful series of photos! The little owl is so cute.
ReplyDelete#1 Red Eye Gravy, I know where we are now
ReplyDelete#2 'fake' tree
#3 now that looks like Maui
#4 Little Free Libraries are everywhere, good
#5 'Owlbert' now that's great

Excellent---a little bit of everything. We have the little libraries here too. A very good idea.

We have a lot of the little libraries here and I use them all of the time!
ReplyDeleteAbe's Grill certainly shows confidence :)
ReplyDeleteI want to put up one of those libraries. They are awesome! That sandwich looks mighty tasty!
ReplyDeleteLove the Hawaiian take on chicken with pineapple! And these little free libraries are so cute and thoughtful! Have a great weekend, Lea! See you back at All Seasons:)
ReplyDeleteI want to eat at Abe's!!!!! Kind of sad to see a wild bird tethered, but hopefully it won't be for too much longer.
ReplyDeleteWe had a Great-horned Owl calling outside the house last night. It was dark so we didn't see it, but it was neat to hear.
ReplyDeleteAbe's Grill sounds like a great place to eat. I love little out of the way cafes with homestyle cooking. We have several little libraries around our town. We donate books to them all the time. - Margy
ReplyDeleteWe have these little libraries a little bit everywhere. I think that's a very good idea, you put your books in there and take others out you haven't read yet.
ReplyDeleteHello, the Abe's sign is cute. I see similar cell towers around there, disguised as pine trees. I like the cute mini libraries, they are a great idea. The Owl is a beauty, great photo. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great little horned owl. We saw lots of Little Free Libraries while visiting Victoria, BC, unfortunately none around our area.
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious little owl! And I love the free libraries! They are so cool. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe have those libraries around here although I've never officially checked any of them out. Great photo of the horned owl! And I love his name.
ReplyDeleteYour Great Horned Owl is wonderful! I love the Little Library ideas.. My reading tastes are all over the map so I don't think it would work well for me, plus we get no traffic on my street. But I think it's an awesome neighborhood idea!
ReplyDeleteOwlbert Einstein...cute! Oh, and since it's in the a.m. - those biscuits & gravy sound mighty fittin'
ReplyDeleteThanks again Lea.
Fun set of randoms. We have those little "library's" here in town and I've gotten a few books that way. - Loved Owlbert Einstein, The restaurant sounds like a great place although I'm not fond of "country" ham.
