The Barn Collective, February 18, 2018

Lee County, Mississippi, USA, February 1, 2018
When the trees are all leafed out, this barn is barely visible from the road. There are horses living here, but no volunteers for a photo!

Your bird for today is...
Tupelo, Mississippi, USA, February 1, 2018
a Duck!

From the green feathers on its head and the curled tail feathers, I suspect it is Mallard hybrid.

Have a blessed day!

  1. ...locally, many barn come into view in the fall when the leaves are down. It's always a plus when a horse is grazing out front, perhaps next time. Thanks Lea for sharing this week, please stop again.

  4. Great barn - and I've never seen a black duck before.

  5. Now that is a classic duck - just missing a little white collar and a rabbit as a friend!

  6. I think that is a cayuga. Not sure if that's spelled correctly tho. It's a domestic duck...and a drake (curled tail)
