1. Ballard Park (Sky Watch Friday)

Last Friday was a beautiful day to walk around Ballard Park Lake (it is not a large lake).
I do not know why the fountain in the middle of the lake was not turned on, but the turtles were taking advantage of it, sunning themselves on the fountain's base.
The ducks and geese were gathering for a meeting at the small amphitheater.
Here comes today's speaker with his entourage!
2. Art in the Park

These two butterfly sculptures are near the children's playground at Ballard Park. The artist is Tanner Coleman, a native of Tupelo who now lives in Macon, Georgia
One butterfly is depicted with its wings open,
The other one with its wings closed. Of sturdy brick construction, children are encouraged to play on them.
3. The Reason Why (Saturday's Critters)

This is The Reason Why I keep my camera in my lap when I am in the car! A White-tailed Deer ran from the side of the road to the edge of the woods, then paused for a few seconds to look back.
Just enough time for two quick photos before she ran deeper into the woods!
4. Autumn

The whole gang was out on courthouse square enjoying the cooler Autumn weather this week!

So many great photos! I love the courthouse square gang enjoying the autumn day & the butterfly sculptures are fun. Deer are cool animals when they're not munching one's garden. Happy weekend!
