Donating blood can make a world of difference!

In February of 2014, I was diagnosed with Leukemia. Over the next six months, along with chemo treatments, I received a dozen or more units of red blood cells. Thanks to the Good Lord above and wonderful doctors and blood donors here, my Leukemia is in remission.

A BIG Thank You to all blood donors, and especially to you who are B positive!

Have a wonderful week!

  2. What great painting on the bus - and a good service. I can't give blood because of having hepatitus when I was a kid - and I did receive life saving transfusions before an emergency surgery - so I try and volunteer in other ways to help the blood drive, just as a thank you to those who can give blood.

  6. Oh that is good news that you are in remission...the bloodmobile makes donating even easier ... it is the most easy thing you can volunteer for anyway! I'm O negative...Universal blood type, so I like to give when I can.
