Though this is not the usual barn shape, I think it meets the definition of a barn: a large building, as on a farm, for storing hay, grain, etc., and often for housing livestock.

Nice barn find. It doesn't look like it would be used for storing hay or grain. It would be interesting to know its original purpose. I'm not familiar with barns from that part of the country. Happy Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteFrom this side I am thinking it looks more like stalls for animals. Don't know what the other side looks like. It may be more enclosed.
DeleteHappy Valentine's Day to you, too!
Lea
It sure looks like a barn to me Lea sitting under some massive oaks. Thanks so much for sharing this week and I hope that you will share again soon.
DeleteI think the weathered boards have 'barn' written all over them. I, too, would love to know their history.
ReplyDeleteHello, Lea! It is a nice weathered barn. It looks useful, great barn shot! Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely! It reminds me of the old barn my grandfather used to have.
ReplyDeleteI would guess it was used for animals. Nice find!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is unique! Nice picture.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing building.
ReplyDeleteThis is what I would call a one-of-a-kinder. It is great. So different from any I have ever seen. Like it is unpainted. That gives it even more personality. I certainly think it qualifies as a barn.
ReplyDeleteNice find!
