Great Blue Heron, February 1, 2016

Great Blue Heron, Pickwick, Tennessee, USA, February 1, 2016, SOOC
We went to Pickwick today, but there were very few birds there.  I was very happy to get this photo of a Great Blue Heron. The Tennessee River's water levels are higher than normal, but it still found a perch on the submerged rocks.
