I think this is a Katydid because of the length of its antennae (much longer than those of grasshoppers and crickets).

    The heron really went into action there, what an amazing fisherman! Great captures! The Katydid reflections are awesome too, I love the green stockings. I used to hear them chirping at night in the South.

    I am truly amazed at the series of the fishing expedition!! Great catch...both of the heron's AND yours!! Excellent. The katydid is very colorful...and huge antenna.
