White-throated Sparrows, Zonotrichia albicollis, are migratory birds that visit us in the Winter. Soon they will be going north to their breeding grounds around the Great Lakes region. Many of them will go even farther north and spread across Canada to raise their young.
(The vertical and horizontal out-of-focus lines are a trellis).

I hope you are having a good week!

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"Know ye that the Lord he is God; it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures to all generations" Psalm 100:3-5

"Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you" 1 Peter 5:7

  3. So many types of sparrows. I saw a tree sparrow this week which we only see in winter. Then it goes further north. Love this little white-throated one. Thank you for sharing.
