Tennessee River, Hardin County, Tennessee, USA, February 6, 2022 |
The Tennessee River is an hour's drive northeast of us, and there is always something interesting to see.
The boat is the "George King" owned by Marquette Transportation. It was built in 1976 in St. Louis, Missouri, and is 138 feet long, and 44 feet wide.

The river is almost as blue as the sky. Liked the Native American on the side of the George King. I see it's the logo of Marquette Transportation.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure, but I think the logo is Father Jacques Marquette, an early French missionary and explorer of the Mississippi River.
DeleteRiver boats are fascinating to me. I’ve seen so few of them.
ReplyDeleteA blue sky like that at this time of year is wonderful to see.
