... I made a blueberry tart. One pie crust, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, dash of nutmeg, 3 cups of blueberries. Mix dry ingredients together, stir in blueberries. Pour into pie crust, fold edges up around fruit mixture. Sprinkle a teaspoon of sugar on crust (optional). Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
I packed the rest of the blueberries in my freezer, three cups to a bag, for future blueberry tarts!

ReplyDeleteOh I’m so glad I came to visit you ... my daughters blueberries are just now coming on and that tart looks amazing! We eat them for breakfast most days (frozen ones)..... and I can tell you the ones frozen from their garden are way better than the bags we buy when we’re in Florida! And fresh will be even better ... we will help them pick when they come on. .... thanks for the recipe!
