I picked the first cucumber of the season on Monday: eight ounces of crispy crunch for our salads!

And this morning's cucumber weighted slightly more: nine ounces. Later in the Summer, the vines should be producing faster, and I will have enough to make pickles.

ReplyDeletethat's my dream... home grown cukes! I love them! fresh, no wax, so tasty. But they take a lot of water which we do not have in CO. Will you do dill or bread and butter pickles? (my favorites)
