Thankful Thursday and Little Things Thursday

Today I am thankful for Mockingbirds! Mimus polyglottos, the many-tongued mimic, seems to have a never-ending supply of bird songs, and has been known to mimic other sounds that it hears frequently.

It is such a joy to hear them sing!

    I haven't heard our local one lately but it is a great display of singing when you do hear it.
