The vulture is so very colorful today...looks to have some lavender skin on its red head...is that breeding colors you wonder?!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the barn too.
Thanks once again for doing your narration and sharing the wonderful photos this weekend. We birders at I'd Rather B Birdin' are always appreciative.
Hello!:) The Turkey Vulture is a cool find, and share. I have never seen one.
ReplyDeleteHello, that is a wonderful barn photo. Neat capture of the vulture. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteGreat roof line on the barn! Love the old metal!
ReplyDelete...now this barn is aged to perfection, Lea. I like the John Deere poking out. Turkey Vultures are a common sighting around here too. Thank you and have a great week.
ReplyDeleteLIKE THE OLD BARN IMAGE.
ReplyDeletewHEN MY DAUGHTER'S GOOD HORSE DIED UNEXPECTEDLY AND THE VET WAS OUT AND DID A FIELD AUTOPSY THE vULTURES STARTED CIRCLING IMMEDIATELY-------OOPS CAPS SORRY
Wouldn't it be interesting to see all the neat old stuff in that barn. The Pickers (on tv) would love it! Enjoy your day sweet friend!
ReplyDeletecool vulture
ReplyDeleteGood photo of the turkey vulture. We have 2 that constantly fly over the fields but getting them to land close by never seems to happen.
ReplyDeleteThat barn has seen some history, for sure, Love the roof!
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of those turkey vultures around here!
ReplyDeleteThat barn looks interesting...one I would like to prowl around in. And I wonder if you have buzzards like we do--they are thick around here.
ReplyDeleteTwo super images Lea. We see lots of red-headed vultures flying overhead but rarely on the ground such as yours.
ReplyDeleteGreat barn. And rough looking guy! :-)
ReplyDeletenot sure I would like to enter this one :)
