That is such an unusual bleeding heart--I don't think I've ever seen blooms like this before, but they're so pretty. I'm afraid I'm no help in identifying your shrub though it looks familiar. Happy Bloom Day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and blooms! Lovely images. Happy Monday, have a great week ahead!
ReplyDeleteNot a flower expert, so can't help you out with the last one. The rest are very beautiful, especially the bleeding hearts, which were a favorite of mine as a child.
ReplyDeleteI love all your blooms but my favorites are the old daylily, the gardenia, and the hydrangea. They bring back fond memories of the gardens of my childhood.
ReplyDeleteLovely blooms especially the Linden which we just planted a couple of years ago and the Tree I am following this year...I am waiting for mine to bloom along with the bees who love it too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blooms!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a purple mimulus before, many people have mimulus here but always orange so I thought it was the only colour, I love your bleeding heart, very different from the photos of others I have seen on blogs and in books, a common name can be so many plants or a plant can have many common names, happy belated bloom day Lea, Frances
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Lea! Don't you just love Bloom Day? I do. That way, I can see what blooms from year to year. ~~Dee
ReplyDeleteI like the gardenia and hydrandea.
