Wow, the is some pear!
ReplyDeleteOurs were so small this year. Yummy tasting though.
Beautiful shot of the pear tree blooming. I also love the butterfly on the flowers. Carver, ABC Wed. Team
ReplyDeleteThat is a large pear and how nice to be able to pick your own! I like pears simply "paired" with cheese such as bleu cheese or gorganzola in a simple salad with maybe some walnuts added. My friend used to make a fancy looking pear tart that was delicious, but I never did get the recipe. Enjoy the fruits of the season!
ReplyDeleteWow...now I'm hungry after seeing that pear.

What? No partridge?
ReplyDeleteROG, ABCW
Nope, no partridge. But if you click on Cats under Labels on my sidebar, you'll see I have a Cat in a Pear Tree!

That final pic is wonderful, so much detail. I also really like the pear blossom against the very blue sky.
ReplyDeleteAmazing, Lea! Are you sure it is 710 kilograms? You mean 7.10 kg? Even that is a very big one. Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

ReplyDeleteWe have several Asian Pears, they are all gone now. But, the canning pear is still loaded.
Wow that must be some tree to bear a pear like that. Gorgeous photo of the butterfly and bush.
