Our Barn in the Snow, March 1, 2015

Thursday, February 26, 2015, Prentiss county, Mississippi, USA

The snow began Wednesday afternoon, a welcome change to our usual winter weather of sleet, freezing rain, and "wintery mix."  The snow began to melt on Friday, and today's rain washed away the last of it.

Have a great day!

  2. Hello Lea! Great photo in the snow. The barn looks like it's leaning...

    1. I noticed that, too. It is just that the snow drifted higher on the near side, and maybe I didn't hold the camera perfectly straight! Of course, it could be leaning just a bit - it is over 60 years old.

  7. Looks like the barn needs a little propping up on one side. Very interesting in the snow. Nice shot, Lea.

  8. Dear Lea, thanks for leaving a comment on my blog! Your snowed in barn looks so beautiful, like a winter wonderland.
Here in San Diego, we don't get snow, never ever, but at least we had almost two days of rain over the weekend. We need it so badly with our 4 year long drought.
    Wishing you a wonderful week!
