There are many different kinds of Woodpeckers here in North America, and you can attract them to your yard with suet feeders.
I am linking in today with My Corner of the World and Wild Bird Wednesday
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
"Know ye that the Lord he is God; it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures to all generations" Psalm 100:3-5
I hope you are having a good week!

A beauty. Such great birds!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. We have the same suet feeder and visitors in our garden. <3
ReplyDeleteI was hearing 2 different woodpeckers this morning but couldn't spot them in the trees. They can be so loud and then you spot a small Downy making all that noise.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see woodpeckers coming to suet. They are a neat corner of bird-dom.
ReplyDeleteI love all the woodpeckers, great visitor and photo. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteDedicated in eating and drilling
ReplyDeleteI posted some too.
ReplyDeleteBeautyful woodpecker. Happy easter
