Deer

Click on the photos to see them at their best.

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, February 26, 2024
We put sunflower seeds for the Doves in a pan underneath the birdfeeder on a pole. When I looked out my dining room window on Monday morning, there was a White-tailed Deer eating the seeds!

Have a great weekend!

I am linking in today with Saturday's Critters

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"Know ye that the Lord he is God; it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures to all generations" Psalm 100:3-5

  5. That's a good idea. I often see their hoofprints around my feeders. I assume they are picking up the fallen seeds or perhaps getting them from the feeder.
