Hopefully, my March Bloom Day post will be full of Daffodils!
Hellebores just laugh at cold weather!
The Spirea has only a few blooms, but I am hoping for hundreds of these tiny blooms in the next few weeks!
Happy Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day!

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
"Know ye that the Lord he is God; it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures to all generations" Psalm 100:3-5
Pretty blooms, nothing here yet! Take care, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteLea, your Hellebore is gorgeous! Your Daffodil buds look very promising too! I look forward to seeing your March Bloom Day post.
ReplyDeleteI actually saw Snowdrops here yesterday. Although we are to have snow this afternoon so they will be covered soon.
ReplyDeleteYour weather really held you back. We've (Southern Tier of New York State) only have had five days below 20 (I erred with saying our low for the year was 21. Our low for the year was 10 above, and three of those days may have been the same January cold wave that hit you. But things will recover as long as the daffodils weren't blooming and I think you'll have a display worth the wait come March.
ReplyDeleteLovely. It's so exciting to see the first buds and blooms! We are way ahead of our schedule in the Midwest this year, although with snow and cold in the forecast I hesitated to rake off the winter mulch until next week. Many things are budding though. Here's to a great growing season ahead for both of us. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope it warms up, Lea.
ReplyDeleteThe floral bulbs about to blossom look so full of energy
ReplyDeleteLooks like spring is creeping over the windowsill where you live.
ReplyDeleteWhile I had a flush of early daffodils, our recent rainstorms planted them headfirst in the mud. Those with larger flowers are just getting started but, like yours, they're running a bit late. Spring will deliver its bounty to both of us eventually!
ReplyDeleteYou’re ahead of us. I did see some winter, jasmine blooming, one daffodil has a bud.
ReplyDeleteOnly my miniature Tete-a-Tete daffodils are blooming. The others are still just a few leaves, not sure they're going to do anything this year.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blooms and the promise of more. The only thing blooming in my Tennessee yard is 'weeds' :)
ReplyDeleteWow daffodil buds already! You are way ahead of us! I did see some hyacinth and allium bulbs coming up before the snow the other day, but now they are covered!
