Blue Skies

Sky Watch Friday and Saturday's Critters

Pickwick Lock and Dam on the Tennessee River, February 6, 2024
We had beautiful blue skies for our trip to the Tennessee River on Tuesday.

Did you notice the bird in the tree?

A Great Blue Heron!

Have a great day!

  1. I've never seen one up in a tree so am always surprised when I see a pic of them doing that, Lea. Lovely blue skies.

  6. Splendid shot of the Blue Heron. I didn't notice the heron in the distance, I had to go back and search for it, I think it must be unusual to see a heron so high up in a tree. Great sighting!
    All the best
