Chickadee

My Corner of the World and Wild Bird Wednesday

Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA, January 9, 2023
Carolina Chickadees, Poecile carolinensis, are year-round residents here in the southeastern United States, but I don't usually see them until they come to my feeders in the Winter.

I hope you are having a good week!

I am linking in today with My Corner of the World and Wild Bird Wednesday

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

  1. They are so cute and hard to photograph since they don't stay still for long. Nice one, Lea.

  6. Sweet little buddy. We have plentiful black-capped chickadees up here; I think the Carolina chickadees' range is further south. The bc chickadees are my favorite birds. They're with us year-round. Beautiful photo!
