Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day, November 2021

The northeast corner of Mississippi, USA zone 7b

The 15th of each month is Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day!

Click on the photos to see them at their best.

The 'Autumn Royalty' Azalea continues to bloom profusely.

The Lantanas at the south end of the house are enjoying the warmth of the sunshine and ignoring the cool nights. Our daytime temperatures have been about 65F and the nights around 35F (18C and 2C).

I have been thinking that each bud that opens on the 'Iceberg' Rose is the last one, but here is one more!

The Oxalis is blooming under the shelter of the porch.

And the trees are showing off their Autumn color! This Linden Tree (aka Basswood) is beside my driveway.

Happy Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day!

  1. You have nice color on your linden tree. Our lantanas did really well this year - best ever, perhaps. I enjoyed seeing your azalea (we don't have fall blooming ones here in my part of New York State) and look forward to your winter blooms.

  4. It is so nice to have flowers this time of year. I have seen a few tough rose buds around during my walks but I think this may be the last week for them.

  6. Wonderful blooms and I do love the color of that linden tree. Fall tree color is something that we don't get much of here.

  8. You've got more roses than I do, Lea! I love the Azalea. I don't have any of those in my current garden and I miss them.
